A fantastic show full of golden songs, entertainment, extravagant fashion and close encounters with the artists.
Last Monday, 18th of March, The O2 London had been taken over by The Big Four: Andy Hui (許志安), Dicky Cheung (張衞健), William So (蘇永康) and Edmond Leung (梁漢文). These four Hong Kong artists with great reputation and who are long time buddies formed The Big Four because they all had the dream to share the stage together. Their first and solo concert in Europe, which also was their first concert abroad after the sold out Hong Kong concerts earlier this year, has exceeded all expectations.
Together with the finest Hong Kong musicians and Mark Lui (雷頌德) as musical director, they opened the show with a great performance of their concert theme song「大家利事」and「Big Four」accompanied by beautiful dancers. During the show that lasted for more than 2 hours, The Big Four performed numerous golden songs and showed a variety of extravagant costumes. Spectators were surprised with the special guest performance of Eddie Ng (吳國敬) and Joey Tang (鄧建明) who rocked the stage with famous songs of the Hong Kong rock group 太極. According to Hong Kong concert’s customs the artists also treated the spectators with a couple of close encounters. Not only the two special guests went off the stage, also The Big Four went down to get closer to the public, which caused a lot of commotion. And in the beginning of the show one lucky spectator was even invited to go on stage for a little battle with Dicky, and won a nice amount of ‘lucky money’.
As The Big Four announced in the press conference, hosted in Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, this concert tour is all about having fun and celebrating their long time friendship. They sure infected all the spectators with their joy, openness and brotherhood. Which made this show intimate and unforgettable.
